16-year prison sentence for women involved in fatal car accident

Kristen Ann Bedard walked to work on the morning of November 23, when a car on the pavement, roared striking and kill her. On the road that leads to a doctor's appointment that morning, her brother drove along the emergency aid workers. Later he learned that it was his sister who had taken.

On Monday, Becky Marie Anderson was sentenced to 16 years in prison for gross vehicular manslaughter while drunk driving under the influence and cause damage and illegal under the influence of a controlled substance.

The 16-year prison sentence was a period of Anderson's plea deal a lesser penalty than the originally had been looking for. persecution for the family of the victim, it is not nearly enough.Bedard was only 36 years old when she died, leaving behind a teenage son and daughter.

The morning of the accident, was a Anderson administered methadone in Escondido clinic. the previous evening, they had Valium. On the day of the accident they claimed to have for a piece of paper when she lost control of her car, driving on the sidewalk and as a result of which the deadly car accident.

Anderson also had two prior DUI conviction, 10 years when they are still in Minnesota lived.
